A couple of weeks ago I, Geraldine Kennedy, known also as Jerry, mom, grandma, flew to Georgia to visit Daneen, Paul, Carson and Sydney Grace Gerber. Sydney is the newest member of the Gerber family. A sweet little dark haired, brown eyed, sweetheart of a little tiny baby, soon to grow up fast. I enjoyed staying with the Gerbers and helping with Carson and Sydney so Daneen could get a little more time to get her badly needed rest. I greatly enjoyed my visit with them but the time came for me to come home. Some of our children in Mesa Higley area took care of Jess Curtis, also known as JC, Dad, Granpa while I was gone. He had a good visit with them and when I got home it was good to see him and see that he survived somewhat without me. We are back to our busy lives as usual.
The Kennedy Reunion which was being planned was called off because so many couldn't make it. Perhaps we will try it again for JC and Jerry's 50th wedding anniversary next spring.
We have been blessed in so many ways. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few days and we hope all of our loved ones have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
